Hocking Hills, Ohio
2 spots left!
Hocking Hills, in southeastern Ohio, is an area dominated by deep gorges, high cliffs and waterfalls at every turn. These dramatic features were formed over eons when the Hocking River eroded away layers of sandstone, revealing the beautiful colors and textures that make up the gorge today.
Our workshop in Hocking Hills will begin in the Old Man's Cave area, a fairly easy 1.5 mile hike in a deep gorge. The walls of the gorge are multicolored sandstone and are lush with hemlock trees. We have scheduled our workshop for a time of year that should allow for good flow in the many waterfalls found in this area.
The first stop at Upper Falls is so dramatic that you might think we should save it for last! But it's just the beginning of what will be 3+ days of photographing waterfalls, rock formations and the incredible natural beauty of this area.
