Autumn in the Grand Tetons 2020
Join accomplished landscape photographers Craig McCord and Jane Palmer as they lead the Creative Light fall colors workshop capturing the grandeur of the majestic Teton Range
25-29 September, 2020.
The Teton Range and Grand Teton National Park is regarded as one of the most beautiful and iconic of all those in our National Park System. Join Craig and Jane to explore and photograph the mountains, lakes and valleys of Grand Tetons. Photograph the alpenglow of dawn and dusk, storm light, and the beautiful autumn colors in this photographer’s paradise. You will be placed in prime locations at prime times to capture beautiful images of amazing landscapes.
This workshop will focus on hands-on field photography. You will be given personal attention to help you not only come away with memorable images, but also to help you expand your knowledge and grow as a photographer and inspire your creative vision. This workshop will include at least two image review sessions and discussions about composition, exposure, and how to gain control using manual camera settings. Workflow techniques involving post processing in Lightroom and Photoshop CC will also be discussed. Arrival should be planned for afternoon of September 25th at 2pm for an initial presentation and to get acquainted as a group. Official check-in time is 4:00pm. We will begin our first shoot with an afternoon/sunset session.
To ensure quality instruction and time devoted to individual’s needs, the workshop will be limited to a small group. As such, it is highly recommended you reserve your slot early.
Fee: $1350. This fee is for instruction only and does not include lodging or travel to/from the workshop.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $250, will reserve a slot (Balance due NLT July 22, 2020.

Lodging/Meals: The group will base out of Jackson, WY at the Parkway Inn & Spa of Jackson Hole. A special room rate has been arranged so state that you are with the Creative Light Photography group to get this rate. You are not required to lodge at the Parkway Inn but our shooting sessions will depart from and return to this location. Meals are not included; however, the Parkway Inn does provide a free continental breakfast (which we will often miss). The group often dines together but this is not required.
Transportation: Travel to and from the workshop is the attendee’s responsibility. Commercial transportation such as air travel and/or rental car expenses will not be reimbursed under any circumstances. It is unlikely a workshop be cancelled; nonetheless, it is highly recommended you consider travel insurance. Car sharing is recommended for travel and to and from shooting locations to minimize footprint.
