Eastern Sierra Photography Workshop
May 15-19, 2021
Craig McCord and Jane Palmer will host this exciting workshop in the California Eastern Sierra. As with all Creative Light workshops, a small group will allow these two highly qualified instructors to give individualized attention to each of the participants.
Craig and Jane will take you to some breathtaking majestic locations, helping you to come away with beautiful and memorable images. The Eastern Sierra is a photographer's wonderland. But while this 4 1/2 day workshop will certainly fill some memory cards, there will be time for constructive image review. Our goal is not to only have you come away with beautiful images, but also to improve your technical skills and your creative vision.
Highlighted locations may include:
Alabama Hills and Mobius Arch
Ancient Bristlecone Forest (including a night shoot (sky permitting)
The Tufa formations of Mono Lake
Bodie Ghost Town
Fee: $1495. This fee is for instruction only and does not include lodging or travel to/from the workshop.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $300, will reserve a slot (Balance due NLT 60 days prior to workshop.

Lodging/Meals: The group will base initially out of Lone Pine, California at the Best Western Plus Frontier Motel, 1-760-876-5571. Attendees should plan to arrive and meet up in the office area at 3:pm on Saturday, May15th. We will reposition to Lee Vining California after the morning shoot on May 17th. In Lee Vining we will be staying at Murphey's Motel, 1-760-647-6316. From here we will continue to explore Mono Lake, Bodie Ghost town and other surrounding areas. Room blocks have been set aside with reasonable rates, but you are responsible for calling to individually to reserve your room. You must state that you are with the Creative Light Photography Workshops group.
Meals are not included; however, there may be continental breakfast provided at some hotel locations. Although not required, we often try to dine together as a group to continue to get to know one another and continue to discuss our shared passion of photography
Transportation: Travel to and from the workshop is the attendee’s responsibility. Commercial transportation such as air travel and/or rental car expenses will not be reimbursed under any circumstances. It is unlikely a workshop be cancelled; nonetheless, it is highly recommended you consider travel insurance. Car sharing is recommended for travel and to and from shooting locations to minimize footprint.
